IT rooms and public devices
The PC workrooms we look after are used in different ways. Some of them are rooms offered exclusively for students, which can be used undisturbed during the specified opening hours. However, there are also rooms that are used for courses. Here, we ask that the workspace be made available as needed. There are also individual workstations and workstations in public areas. Please observe the usage regulations.

Operating hours begin at 8:00 a.m. and generally end at 10:00 p.m. During non-teaching hours, operating hours end at 8:00 p.m., at which time PCs are automatically shut down.
Study rooms (for students only)
The following workrooms are reserved exclusively for students. They are particularly suitable for longer, undisturbed work. The login is done with the uniACCOUNT. Uniform software is installed on the PCs in the study rooms.

Combined teaching and study rooms
The following rooms are designated for both teaching and students. Students can only work there when there are no courses or exams (please note the schedule of the room). All PCs have uniform software installed.

Teaching rooms
The following rooms are exclusively for teaching. Students can only enter them in the context of courses. All PCs have uniform software installed. The BYOD (Bring your own device - for working with your own notebook) workstations are equipped with power supply directly at the table.

Workplaces on public areas
These devices are scattered around campus in publicly accessible areas. Access within the building's opening hours is free, but the full range of software is not installed. Login is done with the Uni-Graz account.
Due to the limited equipment, we recommend these devices mainly for internet research, e-mailing, social networking, printing, etc. Uniform software is installed on the public PCs.
