Information for guests and externals
Guest WLAN account UNIGRAZguest:
If eduroam is not available for you, your contact person can request a temporary guest access to the university network for you as an employee:at the University of Graz. The WLAN with the identifier (SSID) UNIGRAZGuest offers an unencrypted access to the internet. If you work with sensitive data or have to enter authentications, please make sure that your browser uses HTTPS.
Ports 80 (http) and 443 (https) are enabled. Special configurations are generally not required - simply connect your end device to UNIGRAZguest and call up any website. You will be redirected to the login page, where you can enter the access data.
Offer for guests
As a member of an eduroam participating organization (e.g. of another university) you can use the WLAN of the University of Graz.
You are looking for a lecture hall - for orientation on campus there is the web-based campus map.
The PCs in lecture halls and teaching rooms are to be used exclusively with access data of the University of Graz. However, if you want to use our presentation infrastructure as a guest, you can connect your own notebook almost everywhere.
