Configure a mailbox in Apple iOS (Exchange synchronisation)

Configure an exchange synchronisation with the e-mail system of University of Graz.

What you need

  • An active account on UNIGRAZonline
  • A smartphone with Exchange ActiveSync support

Short overview

  1. Open Settings, then select the category Mail, Accounts, Account.
  2. Select Exchange as your account type and enter the following access data:
    • E-mail: givenname.surname@edu.uni-graz.at
    • Password: UNIGRAZonline password
    • Optional description
  3. For manual configuration you need the following server settings::
    • Server: email.uni-graz.at
    • Domain: bzedvz
    • Username: UNIGRAZonline username
    • Password: UNIGRAZonline password
  4. ​​​​​​​Optionally enable synchronization and complete the installation.
