New tools for a modern university
With the digitalisation roadmap, the University of Graz is presenting key digital innovations that will significantly simplify everyday working, teaching and studying life in the future. The new tools, ranging from modern examination platforms to collaborative working environments, ensure greater efficiency, security and user-friendliness. This overview shows which applications will be introduced soon, what added value they offer and how the University of Graz is using them to create a modern, future-proof digital campus.
uniYOU
Description:
uniYOU is a centralised digital work and process platform. YOUknow is the new, service-orientated intranet of the University of Graz and part of uniYOU. It replaces the previous intranet and offers employees centralised, up-to-date and reliable access to internal university information. Thanks to the intelligent search and the connection to uniAI, content can be found quickly, queried in a targeted manner and, if necessary, traced including sources.

UNIGRAZonline 3.0
Description:
UNIGRAZonline is the central administration and information system of the University of Graz. It supports students and staff in organisational processes such as studies, teaching, examinations and administration.

youni
Description:
youni is the mobile-first platform for students and accompanies them through everyday student life as a digital student card. The app bundles personalised information, will support students with an exam indicator in future and provides information via individual notifications and push notifications. A chat function has also been added, enabling direct and uncomplicated dialogue between students and with lecturers. As a counterpart to uniYOU for students, youni can also be used by staff.

Microsoft 365 and Teams
Description:
Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams are being rolled out at the University of Graz and made centrally available for the first time. This is not an update of existing systems, but the introduction of modern office and collaboration tools such as Teams, OneDrive, Planner and other Microsoft 365 applications. A key added value is the use of the applications without a VPN connection, which facilitates mobile working and collaboration in particular; however, email access without VPN is not part of the initial rollout, but will be made possible in a second step through the introduction of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
